What can I make a timelapse of?

Almost anything that changes over time. Common projects include fitness and weight-loss progress, faces, beard growth, children growing up, renovations, gardens, and creative work.

How does Lapser keep photos aligned?

Automatic alignment runs on your device after capture and is tuned for face, body, plant, object, landscape, or other projects. You can also use the ghost overlay while shooting and adjust alignment manually.

Can I include weight or measurements?

Yes. You can attach weight, measurements, or milestones to photos and include data overlays in your exported video.

What is included in the free version?

Free includes one project, your first 10 automatic alignments as a one-time sample, unlimited ghost and manual alignment, reminders, editable dates, and 480p video export with a watermark.

What does Premium add?

Premium adds unlimited projects and automatic alignment, 1080p watermark-free export, editing, before/after comparisons, music, personal-cloud backup, batch import, custom data overlays, and timeline milestones.

Is Premium only a subscription?

No. You can buy it monthly, annually, or with a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown by Google Play or the App Store.

Can I import older photos?

Yes. You can import and backdate individual photos, and Premium adds batch import. Correcting a photo's date automatically reorders the timeline.

Where are my photos stored?

Photos and project data are stored privately on your device. Optional Premium backups go to your personal Google Drive on Android or iCloud Drive on Apple devices; Downgate Labs does not store or access those files.

Can I restore an Android backup on iPhone?

No. Google Drive and iCloud Drive are separate backup systems, so cross-platform restore is not currently available.

Does Lapser have ads?

No. Lapser is ad-free for both free and premium users.

Is Lapser available on Android and iPhone?

Yes. Lapser is available through Google Play and through the App Store for iPhone. The Apple version requires iOS 15.5 or newer.
